Anne Boleyn Dress Launched
A Tudor website is offering visitors the chance to get the Anne Boleyn “look” with their new red velvet Anne Boleyn dress and many more to follow. Following their visitor poll on which dress from “The Tudors” should be made first, www.theanneboleynfiles.com have launched the Anne Boleyn Pembroke Dress and will be following it up shortly with the Execution Dress.
“Many Anne Boleyn fans were disappointed with the choice of Tudor costume available online and by collaborating with Kris Schrepel, an experienced Tudor costumer, we can offer beautiful handmade Anne Boleyn dresses that are made to a customer’s own measurements – not off the peg,” said www.theanneboleynfiles.com creator, Claire Ridgway.
The Pembroke Dress is a replica of the one worn by Natalie Dormer in “The Tudors” show, in the scene where Anne Boleyn is made Marquis of Pembroke. The dress is handmade from stunning red velvet and features handmade beaded appliques, sequinned trim, a fully lined bodice, adjustable waist and back lacing, and boning in 12 places to give that Tudor shape. It is completely custom-made to the customer’s own measurements and will allow Anne Boleyn fans to look and feel like a Queen for a day.
