In “Anne of the Thousand Days” Henry goes to visit Anne at the Tower. I know that is not documented however is there the possibility that it could have happened?

That is a wonderful scene and what a speech Genevieve Bujold gives as Anne! However, it did not happen in real life. There is no evidence that Henry VIII saw Anne after her arrest on the 2nd May and it surely would have been recorded somewhere. It's a shame that Anne never had chance to talk to him and put her side across.

I loved that scene and wished it did happen…except the part when Henry slaps Anne. That was a bit hard to watch.

I love how when he does slap her she bounces back from it instantly like ‘I am not finished with you yet’ Every time I watch this film I always rewind and watch that scene again! She in my opinion is the best actress that has portrayed Anne!

I love this film. I never lend it out but always buy a copy if someone asks. I was 9 went i saw this. Genevieve Bujold left a lasting impact on me as Anne Boyleyn those diamonds in her hair, wonderful.
