Btw, when you mention that people had to be bare-headed in the presence of the king, this refers only to men as women did not wear hats as yet – only headresses, caps etc. -correct?
I thought that Natalie Dormer wearing a collection of little hats with feathers didn’t look quite right – women in these times didn’t wear hats like this, did they?
