Hello Claire! This question probably sounds silly, but do you think there will ever be the possibility that Anne and Catherine Howard’s skulls could be carefully exhumed to perform a 3D scan in order to create a virtual reproduction of what they may have truly looked like? I think I read somewhere that they are very fragile and I was wondering if it would ever be a possibility, because it would be amazing to see what they truly looked like! Thank you for your time!

I don't think that the Queen would allow the bodies to be exhumed to do that and although I'd love to know what they looked like I would agree with the Queen. The chapel is so beautiful and peaceful and the Victorians did a great job with the floor and the memorial tiles that I'd hate to see it desecrated. They did not find any of Catherine's remains anyway, they think they were destroyed by lime.

Well, I would love to the that happen. After all, they were and still are political people and thus, they belong to everybody. I don’t see why we take pleasure in seeing the reconstructed faces of Tutankhamun or The Chariot Lady and should not take any in seing the true face of Ann Boleyn or Henry VIII.
