I’ve always wondered, do you think Henry the VIII would be proud of Elizabeth if he knew how great of a ruler she became? Or do you believe he would be inferiated that she refused to marry and therfore ended the tudor dynasty?I think he would deffinetly be surprised that his SECOND DAUGHTER, was better than most kings.
I think that he would have been proud of the woman and monarch she became, she was definitely the most successful of his children and she was a brilliant mix of her parents. I think he would have been torn between being infuriated with her for not producing an heir and admiring her for sticking to her guns and keeping control of the country herself and not risking a foreign prince taking control. Actually, knowing Henry's paranoia and obsession with the Tudor line and succession, he probably would have been infuriated!

I think he would have been very proud of her but also furious that she died without leaving a male heir, his two other children did no better and Henry was desperate to ensure the Tudor Dynasty continued, the Plantagenets had reigned for several hundred years and the Tudors had supplanted them but the glory was to be short lived, and on Elizabeth’s demise the crown passed to the Stuarts, he would have been turning in his grave and Edward 1st, the Hammer of the Scots also to think that the old enemy had got their hands on the English throne.
