July 13 – The fascinating Dr John Dee is born

On this day in Tudor history, 13th July 1527, in the reign of King Henry VIII, the astrologer, mathematician, alchemist, antiquary, spy, philosopher, geographer and adviser to Elizabeth I and influential statesmen John Dee was born.
