It’s the launch day of my latest book The Life of Anne Boleyn Colouring Book, a joint project with artist Dmitry Yakhovsky, and to celebrate this and the fact that it’s the anniversary of Queen Anne Boleyn’s coronation on 1st June 1533, I thought I’d do a colouring competition.
Earlier today, I shared a colouring of a crowned Anne Boleyn and you might have already got started on colouring it – well done! But if not, don’t worry. Here’s the image again and you can just click on it to enlarge it and print it out. Colour it as traditionally or as creatively as you wish, and then take a photo of it or scan it and then send to me at claire@theanneboleynfiles.com by the end of Monday 11th June 2018. The prize is a set of Henry VIII and his Six Wives Drink Charms Set. I use these to mark people’s drinks every Christmas (we fight over who’s Anne Boleyn!) and they’re great for parties.
What are the rules? Well, they’re quite simple:
- Colour the picture of Anne Boleyn shown here – You can use crayons, pastels, coloured pencils or paint, just not digital colouring.
- Send to me at claire@theanneboleynfiles.com by the end of 11th June 2018. Don’t worry about time zones as I’ll collect them altogether first thing on Tuesday 12th June.

A panel of judges will then select a winning entry and the winner will be notified and their winning entry published here and on the MadeGlobal Publishing website. Entries are welcome from anyone wherever you are in the world. By entering the competition, you are giving permission for your colouring to be shared on our websites and social media.
