This list is not exhaustive, there are many other women mentioned on this site, so do use the Google Search box in the right hand side menu to search for specific Tudor women.
Tudors and girl power… best blog ever 🙂
Excellent choice of remarkable woman. I have been watching the series Suffragets Forever, tracking the rise and political rise and slow movements towards not just the vote but to accepting the status of women as human beings with their own minds and rights over 400 years. A wonderful series. Women went through some terrible stuff. Even as men and even slaves gained right women, many of whom were involved in the struggles for those causes, women were regarded as being too stupid to deserve and understand such rights. It would take prison, the death of a woman on a race track, an alliance with the devil, and a war to change the backward minds of men.
