Tudor cooking with Claire

Posted By on October 23, 2015

claire_ridgway_sweet_potatoI had such fun this week with my ‘Claire Chats’ weekly video for the Tudor Society that I thought I’d share the video with you. I usually talk about a Tudor topic – medicine, food, etiquette, pastimes etc. – but this week I thought I’d try out cooking a Tudor recipe.

Now, I’m no Jamie Oliver or Nigella Lawson, but it went ok and the whole family enjoyed what I cooked – phew! I hope you enjoy the video.

That looks delicious and perfect for Thanksgiving! I love the combination of orange/sweet potato. Thanks for the post.

It’s delicious. the whole family really enjoyed it and I could see how it would work for a dessert too.
