On this day in history, 12th October 1537, Jane Seymour gave birth to the future Edward VI after a long and arduous labour.

You can read more about his birth, christening and life in my post “Happy Birthday Edward VI!” but over at The Elizabeth Files today we have a guest post from author Robert Parry regarding the astrology surrounding Edward’s birth and Edward’s nativity chart. Please read “Happy Birthday Edward VI – Venus and Saturn in Conjunction” for more information.

    Happy Birthday, Edward!!
I feel sorry for him, for growing up without a mother and later without a father as well and of course for living such a sort life!
This must have been the happiest day of Henry’s life! He finally got the son he so much desired.

  2. Anne's Fan says:

    Bully for Henry – not
