TimelineWhen I published my book The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown last year I created an interactive timeline on The Fall website so that visitors could see just how fast things happened in April/May 1536. By the end of April, things were happening on a daily basis.

Today’s event is “25 April 1536 – Most Entirely Beloved Wife” and you can check it out, along with all the other events, over on the timeline click here.

The Fall website also has various extras on it, like a bibliography, list of further reading, cast list etc. I hope you find it useful.

  1. It is very useful Claire, I went over it all again last night, it is very informative, and underlines how fast it did all happened, frighteningly so… it seemed to be a well oiled operation from start to finish, and kept fairly well under wraps too.

If it is true that Henry said to Anne in an argument that he could cast her down as quickly as he had risen her, he had never spoken more truthful words in his life…

Love this timeline. It really shows how fast the downfall of Anne and the Boleyns as well as their supporters.

The presentation is so visual and I love it.

  3. This timeline is what drew me to your site in the first place, Claire. It happened to be posted the day I was browsing and found you. After that I was hooked and then it was your books and all the great research you continually present to us. Thank you!
