The Anne Boleyn Files has gone SSL Secure

Feb17,2017

Just a quick post for all of our wonderful site visitors with an announcement about TheAnneBoleynFiles website … you may have noticed that we have just gone “Secure”.

What do you need to know about a secure SSL site?

SSL, or Secure Sockets Layer, is a standard security technology used to establish a secure, encrypted link between our server and your browser. Using SSL allows you to transmit sensitive information (like your username and password) without the worry of anyone eavesdropping or seeing your data.

How do I know the website is using an SSL connection?

To know if a website is using an SSL connection, you can check it via your browser’s address bar. In the address bar, you will see a padlock before the website address. Additionally, instead of HTTP://, the website’s address will begin with HTTPS://.

Secure Connection

What this all means is that you can rest assured that we’ve done all we can to keep up-to-date with the latest in security for your information. Whenever you enter your password, username or address and contact details on our site, it can ONLY be seen by you and our server, meaning it is kept private, as it should be. We also always upgrade to the latest software on the website and the server to ensure that we use all security and bug fixes that are available.

Enjoy our new secure SSL website!
