It’s that time of year again and, as usual, Tim and I have produced an Anne Boleyn Files Advent Calendar of Tudor themed goodies.
Each day, from now until Christmas Eve, you will be able to click on the appropriate numbered door and enjoy a Tudor goody which I promise will be much more satisfying than a chunk of chocolate, although feel free to enjoy it with a chunk of chocolate too!
I hope you enjoy using it and you can’t cheat, I’m afraid, there’s no way of opening all the doors at once and then taping them back shut with this calendar!
Click on the picture of the calendar or click here to go to it and open door 1. Bookmark the page and then you can visit it each day. I will be posting reminders on The Anne Boleyn Files Facebook page too.
My favorite Tudor place is Hampton Court Palace. It is was the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
Hampton Court….I was there a little over a year ago. Touching those walls took me back in time. It was amazing!
I do not know for sure if Westminster Abbey would really be considered a “place” of the Tudors. I know they were no doubt there on many occassions. I would love to visit here. There is so much history in that building and its surroundings.
I missed opening Days 1 & 2, and now it won’t allow me to open them! However, day 3 was fascinating, poor Anne, losing her ‘little Purkoy’!
It’s now allowing the old ones to be opened.
I’ll ask Tim if he can make it so that old ones can be re-opened.
Tim’s fixed it now!
Number 4 was very interesting Kyra, thank you.
thank you Claire for posting day 5 on calendar ,it was just so interesting and very enjoyable.
That’s ok, I hope you’re enjoying the calendar as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
Yes it was very interesting, I would love to see one of their performances in O.P….and it does sound very pirate like, Oooh aarh there mi ‘arties, I’ll be oft to ‘ave a cup o’ ale…do you think I would get the offer of a part??!! 🙂
