Susan Higginbotham

Today marks the start of my two week virtual book tour or blog hop and I hope you will join me as I hop from Tudor blog to Tudor blog sharing guest articles, answering interview questions and offering prizes. The purpose of the tour is to spread the message about my latest book, The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown, and to also say thank you to the online history community of blogs and visitors who have supported and encouraged me.

Today I’m visiting historical fiction author Susan Higginbotham and her blog History Refreshed. I love Susan’s work because, in her own words, one of her main goals in her writing “is to avoid the stereotypes, myths, and misconceptions that have gathered around historical figures over the centuries” and “to remain true to known historical facts and to the mores of the times in which my characters lived”. It is a real honour for me to be featured on Susan’s blog – thank you, Susan!

Over at Susan’s blog, you can read my article Anne Boleyn and the Charge of Witchcraft and also be in with a chance of winning an Anne Boleyn wine stopper. Susan is also kindly offering a copy of her latest book, Her Highness, the Traitor. Tomorrow, Niki Incorvia is hosting me on her blog for a Q&A and giveaway, and you can see the book tour schedule at The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown Virtual Book Tour
