Anne Boleyn Rose 2016 (Copy)I just wanted to take the time to say a big thank you to all Anne Boleyn Files followers for your support and encouragement yesterday on Anne Boleyn Day 2016. It was a manic day, but it was brilliant, and I hope that you all thought it was a fitting tribute to Queen Anne Boleyn.

Authors, historians, and bloggers are nothing without their readers and followers. We appreciate your feedback, your encouragement and the interaction we receive from you. It was so heartwarming for us to receive comments on our videos, to have entries to the giveaways and to have people sharing our videos far and wide via social media. On behalf of everyone involved yesterday, I want to say a big thank you to you all for making it a wonderful day.

If you were busy yesterday and missed Anne Boleyn Day, you can catch up with the videos either on the MadeGlobal website or on the MadeGlobal YouTube Channel.

Heres a photo of one of my Anne Boleyn roses, which are in bloom at the moment, to cheer your day. I’m often asked where I got my rose bushes from – they’re from www.davidaustinroses.com/. They’re gorgeous.

Thank you, Jean, how are you and your family? I bet it’s lovely having your daughter back in the US.

It’s evident that a lot of planning and hard work went into Anne Boleyn Day. I thoroughly enjoyed it – listening to all the different opinions about my favourite of Henry’s queens. Thank you for such a fitting tribute to her, it really lifted my spirits on what’s usually quite a down day

  3. Esther says:

  4. Christine says:

The rose is gorgeous and it’s great that Anne has a rose named after her, I certainly want to buy that one now, don’t think you can beat David Austen roses, it looks like a floribunda do you know Claire?

  5. Jan Mahoney says:

My Anne Boleyn rose bush is in bud at the moment – summer is a bit slow in my garden at the moment, but hoping for a good show of blooms soon.

  6. Kelley says:

The rose is beautiful. I have a large yard with lost of plantings, but roses and I have never gotten along. I will have to research this rose and see if I can make a go of it.

    1. Christine says:

Plant banana skins next to the roots Kelley, they like those.
