Thank you so much to my dear friend, Dr Owen Emmerson, for sharing a Hello Magazine article on the new Anne Boleyn Netflix series “Blood, Sex and Royalty”, which gives a bit more information on the series.
It will be a three-part series and will be “part documentary series and part fictional led”, so I’m assuming that refers to it being a docu-drama as I know from some of those involved that it features historian interviews and then scenes brought to life by actors.
It stars Coronation Street actress Amy James-Kelly as Anne Boleyn and Emmerdale actor Max Parker as Henry VIII, and will be released on Netflix on Wednesday 23rd November.
