32 Londoners: Anne Boleyn commemorated on the London Eye – 11 June

boleyn_portrait_s1One of the curators behind 32 Londoners of the London Eye has contacted to let me know that Anne Boleyn has been chosen as one of their iconic 32 Londoners in 2015. Historian Tracy Borman, who is also Chief Curator of Historic Royal Palaces, will be talking about Anne Boleyn on 11th June and pointing out London landmarks associated with Anne.

Tickets are £40 each and include a complimentary Aspall cyder, an invitation to the 32 Londoners reception and post-event celebration in the historic County Hall, where there will also be entertainment.

Schedule:
8:30 pm – Guests to arrive in the the 32 Londoners’ departure lounge in County Hall’s Riverside Rooms. Music and entertainment will be provided. Please use this time to find your group. Hosts will be holding signs of the Londoner who is the subject of each of talk.
8:45 pm – First embarkation. Complimentary drinks will be served in your capsule.
9:50 pm – Last disembarkation. Please return to County Hall for more entertainment.
11:00 pm – Lounge closes.

  1. A fantastic event, sounds excellent value for money, and great to see Anne honoured in this way. The day should be great, value for money doing all the celebrations, the eye, talk and special events, drinks and talk, very good. Wish all well on the day.

  2. Just seen this am so glad, and I think Anne would be chuffed if she knew she was still so famous all these years later.
