It was a singular honour for Henry’s second wife to be crowned with St Edwards coronet and all knew it, yes I agree Henry must have been making a statement for the road to queenship had been long and arduous for this ill starred couple, and he wished everyone to know that here was his true and rightful queen, it was a very bold statement and is yet again, a measure of the high regard he held her in, Anne Boleyn is unique in that she wore the crown of Edward the Confessor and also for the dramatic way she fell from favour, finally dying by the will of her once devoted slave and husband.
