Reviews and Likes

Once you’ve read The Fall of Anne Boleyn it would be wonderful if you could spare a moment and leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads. Reviews are so important to new authors and it only has to be brief – every little helps! I read every single review and really appreciate the effort.

You can also help by clicking “like” on the book’s Amazon page. Thank you so much!

Thank you for all the support you gave me with my first book, The Anne Boleyn Collection, and I hope you like The Fall of Anne Boleyn as much.

The Fall of Anne Boleyn Blurb

During the spring of 1536 in Tudor England, events conspire to bring down Anne Boleyn, the Queen of England. The coup against the Queen results in the brutal executions of six innocent people – Anne Boleyn herself, her brother, and four courtiers – and the rise of a new Queen.

Drawing on sixteenth century letters, eye witness accounts and chronicles, Claire Ridgway leads the reader through the sequence of chilling events one day at a time, telling the true story of Anne Boleyn’s fall. The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown is presented in a diary format, allowing readers to dip in, look up a particular date, or read from start to finish. Special features include mini biographies of those involved, a timeline of events and full referencing.

Claire Ridgway, creator of The Anne Boleyn Files website and author of The Anne Boleyn Collection, continues her mission to share the real truth about Anne Boleyn.

  7. I have been very impressed with this book. I have read nearly every book I can get my hand on regarding Anne Boleyn since I found my birthday is the date if her execution as a young child. I was very interested in a fresh view. The only thing that stood out was the reference to Henry VIII fall and how this was not the reason for the tyrant he became. I personally have know someone who suffered from a Tramatic Brain Injury. The personality change was profound. The inability to control rage is a huge issue. The ability to understand things in the same rational way is difficult. The dots just don’t connect in a way that they do for others. Trying to figure out how a simple and inoffensive conversation can suddenly become an attack to a person with TBI is completely baffling. Their thinking runs in a pattern that you can’t follow. When you add in Henry’s absolute power it becomes a very frightening prospect and more understandable. I found the special you wrote of very enlightening. It made a lot of sense if you research the effects of TBI. It explains a lot of Henry’s behavior following the fall versus his behavior after.
