The landmark days, 2nd, 12th, 15th, 17th and 19th May. All dreadful days for anyone who hates injustice, and shameful days for those who doled it out.
Henry’s reign will always be blighted by them, and rightly so.
I totally agree with your words.
I have just posted a comment on the ‘Fall of Anne Boleyn Day-by-Day’ site, on this dark day for Anne.
But on a lighter note I have just received my theatre ticket to see the play ‘Anne Boleyn’ in Edinburgh, for Thursday the 9th of May, I am so excited, have to travel 150miles as all the best stuff never comes any higher than Glasgow or Edinburgh it seems, but it will be well worth it. I will stay over night and visit Holyrood Palace before I board the train back home, Botanical Gardens too, if I’m lucky. Can’t wait…
