The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown and Amazon’s Prime Reading Program

Amazon.com have just added the kindle version of my book The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown to their “Prime Reading Program”.

In a statement about this programme, which was launched in October 2016, Amazon explained “Prime members can now enjoy unlimited reading from a rotating selection of books, magazines, comics and more – at no additional cost” and The Fall of Anne Boleyn is on that list. I’m delighted that Amazon US have chosen it and if you are an Amazon US Prime member and you haven’t read it yet then do check it out.

Here’s the link to The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown on Amazon.com – http://amzn.to/2nv0AY8 – and here’s the blurb:

During the spring of 1536 in Tudor England, events conspire to bring down Anne Boleyn, the Queen of England. The coup against the Queen results in the brutal executions of six innocent people – Anne Boleyn herself, her brother, and four courtiers – and the rise of a new Queen.

Drawing on sixteenth-century letters, eye witness accounts and chronicles, Claire Ridgway leads the reader through the sequence of chilling events one day at a time, telling the true story of Anne Boleyn’s fall. The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown is presented in a diary format, allowing readers to dip in, look up a particular date, or read from start to finish. Special features include mini biographies of those involved, a timeline of events and full referencing.

    1. I just finished the book. I really enjoyed it.
It was hard to put down, and sad to see it
end. I also agree that the downfall of Anne
and the men was not down to just one person.
For years I kept going back and forth trying to
decide who was at fault. I was only looking
for 1 person. And as you say, the buck stops
      at Henry.
      I highly recommend the book.

  1. I got this book when it first came out. I can recommend it. I am looking forward to your book on the Fall of Katherine Howard. Hope it’s going well.

  2. This book is available for sale in Canada for $912. Not even kidding. And no Canadian Kindle. I’m HEARTBROKEN! Any chance you’ll be publishing it in Canada?
