Sorry …. I forgot I hadnt been back to post the details of this topic !!
I dont know if you are aware of Hussey Tower in Boston & the repairs that are being done to it at the moment …. well …..
Heritage Lincolnshire is in the process of recruiting local volunteers who are interested in forming a Friends of Hussey Tower group to assist them in looking after the site, in planning and running events and in getting involved in the production of the new interpretation and reconstructions.
We had our first meeting last Thursday at Fydell House in Boston, but unfortunatly there wasnt a very good turn out (there was only me that turned up). So I am just trying to spread the word, in case people were not aware of the group or even Hussey Tower.
We are going to be holding another meeting soon once the word has been spread a bit. Here is the link to Heritage Lincolnshires website, or you can telephone 01529 461449 for more information

Sophie …. there is a meeting tomorrow night (Thursday 27th Oct) at The White Hart Hotel in Boston at 7.00pm for the Friends of Hussey Tower Group if you are interested …. I will be going along to it.
