Hi everyone, finally joined after days of logging on and reading up all the information on Anne. What a great website! I'm lucky enough to live in London and go past the Tower of london most days but never tire of it. I love walking around in central London where so many streets have names from Tudor characters! My two favourite places to visit are always the Tower and westminster abbey though. Amazing to think I have stood just metres away from the remains of Elizabeth 1 and Mary 1! So hello to everyone, and I look forward to reading more exciting facts on the Tudor period, especially Anne!

Welcome spearson. You are so lucky to live in London. It is my favourite city in the whole world. I hope to live and work ther someday, once I complete graduate school. I hope you enjoy the Anne Boleyn Files. It's a great place, with great people.

Hi Spearson,

Welcome to the site.   I work very close to the Tower, so I joined Historic Royal Palaces which means I have a card so I can go in and out of the Tower whenever I like for free!  I sometimes eat my lunch there. Smile

Welcome, spearson! I am quite envious of where you live–I love London and the history that goes along with it, though unfortunately I live all the way across the pond. I am looking forward to seeing your posts. Merry Christmas to all!

Joining Historic Royal Palaces costs £41 per year, and gives you free access to the Tower, Hampton Court, Kensington Palace, and Whitehall.  Just Google Historic Royal Palaces. I have easily had my money's worth as it costs £17 to get into the Tower!  🙂

Thank you for making me feel so welcome everyone. I'm definitely going to look into the historical palaces yearly ticket – sounds like such a good deal!

I'm half way through reading 'the lady in the tower' at the moment and loving it. I never realised there was so much information still around! Laugh
