Just wondering if others have read this book and their thoughts. Is it a worthwhile addition to my Tudor biographies that I've started to collect?

I have it and have dipped in and out. I have not, as yet, formed an opinion on the book though i found his “A World Undone” about WWI which was a good read.

It's always bunnies.

Yeah I didn't know it existed until Friday when I was doing a spot of random searching on Amazon. It covers from Henry VII to Elizabeth appareently. Which made me think it might be a more indepth look at the family with Tudors For Dummies acting as a sum, mary for the book.

Anyanka have you found the bits you've read easy going and 'light' or is it a heavy piece of work aimed more at academics than a 'casual' learner.

We are due to read it over on the tudors wiki as a 'book group'. I hadn't heard of it either.
