Tales from the Palaces is a British television documentary series following the conservation teams inside Britain's Historic Royal Palaces: Hampton Court, The Tower of London, Kensington Palace, The Banqueting House and Kew Palace. It is produced by BBC and has been shown worldwide including in Australia on the SBS network. The ten-part series was filmed over a year and was shown on BBC Two in 2006.

I think I watched this on youtube once, there was some damage on Henry VIII pew in the chapel at Hampton Court and they were trying to find what had caused the problem. I went to Hampton Court a couple of years ago and the pew was closed to the public, I don't know it has re-opened again, but there was a lot of restoration work going on. I would love to be part of the conservation team, it must be an amazing job.
