I just signed up, it's 11:21pm where I am, and I have school in the morning.
My name is Ashley and I'm 17 years old, and I am HUGE Anne Boleyn fan. She is one of my idols. I have always kind of known of her, but I didn't really get into any of that stuff until I started to read The Other Boleyn Girl. I absolutely love history so I immediately began researching the Tudors and Anne, and I am very glad I did so I could be properly informed about the history of the Tudor era and more importantly, Anne Boleyn. I am on page 383 of TOBG and I can barely get through it now after I looked into it more and found out how askew all of the characterization and events are and how PG thinks her words are factual. I think I have annoyed my best friend to no end complaining about it all, haha.
Anyway; I love horror, history, science, photography, literature, flowers, metal/rock music, coffee, I'm southern, I have had a boyfriend for two and a half years, and I can't drive yet.
That's all. <3

Welcome to the forum! It's so much fun, even if it goes quiet occasionally, its still worth signing up!

Welcome, Ashley. I know what you mean about the forum at the moment, but I live in hopes it can return to the sort of interesting and intelligent debates that made me sign up, and kept me interested for many months. In any event, I hope you enjoy your time on here and that we get to “hear” your views on a range of historical subjects.
Cheers.

Hello, I do a huge amount of complaining in any “historical” movie, tv program, novel- so much so that my friends will refuse to watch the same with me! I just can't help correcting them! You've come to the right place, the ABFiles is great fun xx I'm 32 but that's 5 in Elf years.
