Hi everyone!
I’m Eryn and I am pretty obsessed with all things Tudor, though always looking to learn more about the period and chat about it too. So glad I found this site as it has some really great info on it!
I am from England and graduated with an English degree last year, though I also love history. I did a module on literature from around the Tudor period and was just fascinated by it, reading into it’s history a lot. Lately I’ve been re-watching the tv series The Tudors which has sparked my interest once more, and my constant google searches soon led me to this site!
I look forward to chatting with you all.

I have to say, I’ve never watched that tv series. I’ve once read about it and they say it has many fictional things in it and deviates from the true history, so I refuse to watch it

Sarah – The Tudors definitely does deviate from the truth a lot of the time, I still love it though. However, I’m the kind of person who is constantly looking things up that I watch or read so will soon find out if something isn’t fact…my worry is that there’s a lot who won’t look it up so will believe it. Same with Philippa Gregory books, or any fictionalised version of historical events really. The Tudors is a good watch, as long as you can live with the fictional elements! Henry only having 1 sister in it still bothers me (grrr) but the rest I can just about cope with! Lol.
