I just bought Hole's new album today (Nobody's Daughter), and on the back is a big old pic of our Anne. Also, Hole's front woman, Courtney Love has referenced Anne in one of her solo efforts. Also, Anne's portrait has been spotted in Hogwarts. Has anyone else spotted Anne in any unusual places? She sure gets around!

In the Addams Family Morticia has an Anne Boleyn doll. Wednesday has the Marie Antoinette one (or it may have been the other way round, can't quite remember!) And Tori Amos referenced her in at least one song.
There was also a picture of her on the wall of my history class at school, though that was along with loads of other historical figures!

The other day I was in a small cafe in Athens and they have a wall with posters, art, paintings and while I was watching it,I saw a picture of Anne(the NGP one) and another, far from it,of Charlotte Rampling(not as Anne but I made a mental connection).
Also,I researched about Anne in Harry Potter, and I found that in the universe of Hp,Anne is considered an innocent Squib(a magical being unable to perform magic)who was falsely accused.Funny how everything seems to make a sense in the HP universe and what a funny in my opinion notion to show how the rumor of Anne being a witch is a false one!

Coincidentally, I have just finished watching the first Harry Potter film with my son (who is HP obsessive at the mo) and when Harry, Hermione and Ron are on a moving staircase, there is the NPG portrait of Anne next to the doorway from where the staircase starts. they wondered what I was on about when I went “There's Anne!”. Surely they should be used to me by now….

SarahD: I too watched the first Harry Potter movie a few weeks ago, and I remember the very first time I watched it, years ago, I went, “wait! That's Anne Boleyn!” and made an annoyed family replay the scene about 4 times until I was sure it was Anne, I had gotten over the initial shock, and I had thoroughly explained why I thought her portrait was there (the witch suspicions). 🙂

Anne also makes an appearance on the Hole vinyl “My Body the Handgernade”, I can't remember if it was on the CD too though, I think I vaguely remember it being on the booklet. When I was younger I had a friend try to surprise me with the CD and accidently bought the vinyl record online instead. The back cover displayed the bottom half of Anne's portrait (mainly her B necklace and down) while the record itself had a picture of Marie Antoinette on it.
Anne (from what I've heard) appears in the first Harry Potter movie on the wall when Harry is being shown a tour to his room. I've yet to go looking for it though.

Tori Amos mentions Anne in her song “Talula.”
Dutch band, Kayak, has a song titled “Anne.”
Rick Wakeman's 1973 album “The Six Wives of Henry VIII” has a track named after Anne.
Cat Steven's “Ghost Town” makes reference to Anne.
Anne is referenced in Gossip Girl and The Office (the British version). I remember reading about these two, since I've never seen either show.
