I was looking at a range of Anne portraits today and found one I haven't seen before:

http://www.historicalportraits…..20zoom.jpg

I highly doubt it was painted anytime near Anne's death (mainly because of the style) and it is likely that this one is based off another one (it looks so similar to another one I have seen).

Does anyone have any info on it?

Thanks 🙂

It's the same portrait I asked about in another thread.

It's funny how you've both just found it but it's a shame that nobody knows anything about it.

Very sorry for that 🙂 it is a beautiful portrait in any case.

I was looking at two other ones:

The first one is nice but I doubt it is Anne

This one has probably been seen before. It has the date 1534 at the top. My guess, maybe a copy of a contemporary???

I think the second one is very beautiful, my favourite portrait of Anne 🙂

Lina, both links go to the same portrait.

The Holler one is very interesting.

If it was not this, then it would be something else?

The first one has those remarkable facial features that we know she possessed – the sharp, angular look and dark eyes.  What strikes me the most however is the necklace – the lack of the B pendant!  I believe every portrait of Anne that I have seen has her wearing a B pendant (or an AB one).

The second one has such a youthful look to it – the face more filled out and the expression is somehow lighter.

I love seeing different portraits of Anne – legit or not!
