Hi Claire
where can the letter from Anne to Thomas Boleyn be seen? Thanks
The original is in the Parker Library at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, in a collection of letters which Anne’s chaplain, Matthew Parker, kept. See http://www.corpus.cam.ac.uk/about-us/parker-library/about-the-parker-library/ for information on the library at a photo of the letter.
Many thanks Claire. An exhibition of all known artefacts/documents would be a good project for an institution such as the British Library but unlikely to happen!
Hello! I have been looking for the way Anne Boleyn’s body was cared for after the execution and the burial casket! I was shocked since HS 1965 at the treatment of Marie Antoinette remains were treated. Were there any English or French Laws to protect royal remains-in a Christian country?
How were Anne Boleyn’s clothing maintained after the execution and burial?
Thanks! Mrs. Arthur (Annette) Keith III
