Has anyone ever heard of this? I hadn’t until a couple of days ago. It’s a manuscript discovered in the 18th Century which has been carbon dated to the late 15th Century.
It seems to be a guide to plants, but most of the illustrations show non-existent species. Even weirder is that the manuscript is in an unknown language, which even the WWII codebreakers couldn’t decipher. It seems someone has recently had a breakthrough and that it may be possible to decipher it after all.
I’m very curious as to the outcome. Maybe Darwin was wrong and we actually evolved from plants.Laugh
If so I’m definitely a crab apple! Joking aside I did think it was fascinating.

Thanks for that, Bill. Not knowing about this manuscript is a great example of, you don’t know what you don’t know if you don’t know it.
