There’s just something about them that makes me want to read more (and then chuck it at a wall afterwards).

Strangely you aren’t on your own. weird isn’t it? Although it’s not the wall I throw them at.
My chipmunks have made quick use of a few of her books, seems at apt useage for them, to end up getting covered in, sh……… em something that is at the bottom of a cage.
Son in law has used a few for archery practice and I made use of one,……… well I won’t go into details.

Yeah..every so often I get one out of the library. read part of it and then fall into the pit of despair. Since it’s not my book, I don’t kill it but return it.

I can’t actually remember the last one I finished.

It's always bunnies.

I stopped reading her books a long time ago. I just can’t do it.

I am so mad at that woman. Or actually myself for taking her as a historian instead of a novelist. I guess that’s my fault. But, my books tossed at the groundhogs!!

Some of Gregory’s books are ok but I do hate that some people read her books not understanding that they are historical fiction…they take everything they read by her as fact. A person has to read her books knowing she is making up a lot of what she writes, just like any historical fiction writer. Though I do find many of her books lengthy as if she adds material just to lengthen the book rather than material that adds to a theory or to fill in what we might not know. The worst book I think she has written was Three Queens, Three Sisters. I had such hopes for it when I started the book but all it seemed to be was Margaret whining. I was really hoping for a novel that would explore the relationship between these three women. I never finished the book.

Neither did I.
