Has anyone read this book? I’ve joined the page on Facebook and following the author ( Sarah Morris) on Twitter. Am i right that the book is time travel, between the real Anne and a modern day one? Apologies if i have got this slightly wrong?

Also is it available to buy from local book stores, Amazon, Waterstones etc? I couldn’t find it in my local store, though i know it’s only recently come out :)

I really like this book. Yes, it is about time travel. A modern, young woman finds herself in Anne’s body, after a visit to Hever. Sarah conducted a lot of research on the subject, and does Anne a great service. It is one of my new favourite Tudor novels. This is volume I. Volume II will be released later (thinking later 2013).
I ordered it directly from the publisher, Spartan. So, I am not sure if it’s avaliable anywhere else.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Duchess :) , judging by some reviews i have read, people are praising it! It certainly does seem like an awful lot of research was done for this book, and i have heard there is a book which Sarah has done with the lady from ‘On the Tudor trail’ website- Natalie i think her name is? Based on the same theme of her website i think- walking in Anne’s footsteps? That should be a great book :)

I also noticed that the launch for this book was on a boat on the Thames, and Natalie Dormer from the Tudors and Alison Weir where both in attendance- not bad hey. I heard that the evening was dedicated to Eric Ives, which i think was lovely :)

Kelly it hasn’t appeared on Amazon yet. If you go to Spartan Publishing’s website, you can order it as a download or hardcopy.

It sounds great – I do love time travel stories. Sadly I think it’ll be a while before I can get my hands on a copy.

According to Sarah’s FB page, her novel is now avaliable on Amazon.com. You can find the link below; the book is a bit pricey. She also noted the novel will soon be avaliable on Amazon.co.uk.

I received this book for Christmas and couldn’t put it down. I found that while the approach taken by Sarah Morris was not only unique but refreshing! Her love and admiration for Anne come through clearly and anyone with a kindred spirit will find it an enchanting read. It is the first in a series, of at least two novels, and I learned that the second is finished and prepared to go to the publisher as we speak. Her research is meticulous and her description of not only the places and palaces, but more the details of Tudor dress, mannerisms, customs, etc… is truly lovely and so it reads like a breath of refreshing air; almost like the journal of a dear friend. I highly recommend Le Temps Viendra and applaud Sarah for a wonderfully refreshing fictional account of history’s most fascinating woman!

Thank you for your opinion marquesspembroke and welcome to the forum- great to have you here :) and i love your forum name :) . after reading quite a few reviews online from here, Facebook, Goodreads, and other sites/blogs ( Tudor cafe for instance :) ) i think i certainly will be buying this- it’s reviewed so positively by so many people- even someone who marked it 3 stars said it “just wasn’t their cup of tea” but a very well written book none the less :) . I read that apparently Hever Castle are going to be selling it- how awesome is that :D , hopefully soon Historic Royal Palaces will start selling it and more and more places- i have noticed Sarah has done a few book signings though here and their, so she and her and publishers are obviously doing some good promotional work and getting it out there. I just really hope this becomes a best seller, which may sound a bit odd as i haven’t actually brought it yet lol! But i can already tell i am going to love it and after the recent best seller book involving Anne ( which she was portrayed horrendously :( ) it’s about time we had one where she portrayed better and more accurately :) . Sarah also has a Youtube Channel under ‘Le Temps Viendra’ which is worth checking out as she visit’s a few places on there as well :) .

I really enjoyed this book. I couldn’t put it down and was disappointed to see it end. Sarah did such a wonderful job of recreating London and the castles of the 1500’s. Believe it or not, I found myself liking Henry and falling for him as did the 21st century lady who found herself in Anne’s shoes.
The other ladies have described the story so I won’t repeat it.
When the story ended, Sarah took the time to let her readers know, chapter by chapter, which parts were fact and which parts were fiction. I was extremely pleased that she did this. I am looking forward to Sarah’s next book.

Yes i heard about that part to- i really commend her for that as i think it will help her readers understand a lot more! A pit some other fictional writers can’t do that ;)

This book does look very interesting. I’m putting it on my wish list of Tudor books. I really love what is about. I’m glad it has a twist like time travel and not just a biography. I’ve been following Sarah on Facebook and the more and more I here about this book, I know I have to check it out. On the Barnes and Nobles site it says it is available. I do not know if that means to just buy it online or if it is in the stores as well!Smile

The approach is unique, but I struggle with her ponctuation ; there’s lots of “I Know Thomas” instead of “I know, Thomas”, and “you know that don’t you?” Instead of “you know that, don’t you?”. It seems like there’s always a few commas missing. It does bother me ?
