I know that our community is mainly focussed on the Tudor dynasty but I’m contemplating beginning to continue the discovery of the long forgotten knowledge of Year 8 History and learn more about the Stuarts.

Does anyone have/know of any good books for each of the Stuart monarchs. If I’ve done my research that would be books on James I, Charles I, Charles II, James II, Mary & William, Anne. I’m not really sure if I should get a book dealing with the ‘republican’ era.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
