Eric Ives's The Life and Death of Anne Boleyn. This book is an excellent, thorough, scholarly work, with proper citation (thank god), and intelligent consideration of the information, written with expertise and experience. Ives is the authority on all things Anne, and his grasp of subject manner comes elegantly through. I finished Ives's book with a sense of Anne the woman, removed from popular culture and mythological innuendos of her life. Anne emerges as a viable and important historical figure, who was controversial in her own time, and equally fascinating centuries on.

Ruth Warnicke’s book is hands down the greatest book ever. It tells the real story that no one dares acknowledge about what bought her down and the naughty gay boys she associated with. The 2nd best book is the awesome historical biography by Dr Gregory. Sure it is mainly about the sister, but damn it really delves into how evil Anne really was, allowing people to see the real Anne.
Of course I kid…Based on people on this forum it would have to be Eric Ives’ book. I haven’t read it yet it sits proudly with all my other Tudor books I haven't read, but considering it is referred to here as The Bible. It must be great.

Definitely get the Ives book!!!!
Another good book on Anne is Elizabeth Nortons Anne Boleyn: In Her Own Words & The Words Of Those Who Knew Her. Nothing new, but its an excellent reference book with full contemporary letters, chronicles, poems etc set out in chronological order.
You beat me to it. I was going to add this one. I just received this book a little while ago. It is a great reference book.

I gotta hit the book stores It really really sucks that there are no book stores in my town! Well, actually theres one small one but theres no Tudor books and theres two libraries but they both have the same small selection of Tudor books which involves Alison Weir and someothers but no Ives.

I feel your pain Mya-Elise. Where I live we have 1 very small book shop, 90% French and relucant to order books and 1 library 2/3rds French.
If I want to browse I have to drive into Montreal so I tend to buy from Amazon which means that a recomended book..cough Warnicke cough…isn't what I wanted to buy.
It's always bunnies.

It's the same with me, if I want to go Barnes & Noble or some store like that i'd have to travel about an hour. I never get the chance to go though cause i'm always busy! I should write to my town's people or whatever and demand that a nice good book store be built and they had better include all the Tudor/Anne books ever written!
On another note, if no one has read 'To die for' by Sandra Byrd then I really recommend it. It was hard to put down. It was kind of like TOBG because it was told by someone close to Anne which was Meg Wyatt (Thomas Wyatt's sister). But trust me it is soo much better than TOBG cause Anne is not an evil you know what, and it just tells a story of never ending friendship even in the most dangerous circumstances.
