Hello, I am an ex pat and miss my UK home! I'v been out here since 9years old and never wanted to leave Uk!! Oh well. One fine day I shall come home for a holiday and never return to Aus. I may have to drug my husband to smuggle him in…
I am OBSESSED with Tudor history and very happy to have found this site, as it offers an outlet not found in Aus. I am also really interested in Medieval history. David Starkey, Alison Weir, Antonia Fraser, Jean Plaidy adorn my bookcases as well as an imported hardback on public executions. Mmm grisley. Also fascinated with the bubonic plague. I would love to own a time machine, or at least borrow one so that I could live in the times that I love!
I am really enjoying the site and hope to continue to do so!

Thanks Claire- ABFiles is great as I'm only in UK once a year! I love the site and should have joined up years ago- it's nice chatting with like minded people and my library is growing daily from every ones recommendations!
