I have always had a great interest in Anne – well in Kings and Queens really. From the Conqueror up to the around the time of Cromwell. I am not so keen on Charles II to present times. All the Georges, Victoria etc Have never quite interested me as much as the earlier ones.

Henry VIII is up there on my list of favourite monarchs and obviously his wives. I think Anne is fascinating and while I do understand people trying to 'get inside Henry's head' reference his wives/treatment of them etc I would like to really understand where Anne was coming from, as they say.

I am enjoying browsing here on this site though and getting other peoples viewpoints. Great site and I'll be back all the time I expect.
