Hello all, I finally caved in and signed up to the forum.
I’m Shae, and some of you might know me from Tumblr, as I have two blogs there which you might have seen if you’re active in the Tudors fan community there – “Shaestel” and “Howardist”. I chiefly research Katherine Howard, and I plan to write a book on her eventually (but that is unfortunately a rather long way off in the future!)

Glad to have you abroad Shae. We are a mixed bag of scallywags who enjoy a good debate and sharing the odd giggle or 2 along the way. I look forward to reading your posts..

Shae actually is my name. But I do like ASOIAF/GOT and am glad to share my name with such a fun character as Shae “the Funny wh*re”. Though I admit it does get tedious being linked to her all the time because she has the same name as me.

Oh, how awesome! It’s a beautiful name. Where does it originate from?
I can kinda relate to that feeling. Whenever I tell someone my name, nine times out of ten they begin to sing the song Roxanne by the Police.
There are only so many times you can smile and pretend it’s funny.
