Like you I was amazed on just how many people champion Anne in the world. She was an amazing woman. She is to me anyway, my heroine. A woman who sacrificed her life to save her daughters life and took England and a King by the horns and shook all the shit out of it and her influence helped reshape England to what we have now.
Henry tried to blacken her name and make England forget that she ever lived, all he did is make her immortal. Whilst he is remembered as a wife abuser/Muderer and the biggest arsehole (which given how big he got in later life he probably did) on the planet. LOL I hate to think how much Andrex it would have taken to wipe his bum. Fair boggles the mind. More to the point I pity the poor bloke who had to wipe it.
