Hello everyone. I’m “LadyPrincess” and I’m from the US. I hope everyone won’t think my user-name is pretentious but I was inspired from a quote by Elizabeth I, when she said: “How haps it, Governor, yesterday my Lady Princess, and today but my Lady Elizabeth?”. I’m a history buff — have been since a child– but I’ve always particularly enjoyed reading about English history in particular the Tudors era. I’ve read everything I can about them and am a big fan of Alison Weir (even though I know she is not the perfect historian), Jean Plaidy (not a real historian, I know, but she is a wonderful writer) and Starkey (a little bland in his delivery but he know’s his stuff). I look forward to reading Claire Ridgway’s books in future and chatting in the forum.
