Claire it just happened to me. It asked me if I wanted to continue to site, said something about not recommending that but I clicked yes, and here I am.

It’s been happening to me both at work and at home for the past week I guess. I’ve just been doing what Sharon and Neil has done and lived life on the edge and clicked to continue onto the dangerous site that this place is LOL.

Maybe Henry’s ghost is in the system trying to stop us from spreadign the good work of Anne and clearing her name of any wrong doing.

Although I had no problems just now getting into the forum.

I have been having problems getting on the site over the past days either the security warning comes up and I cant get past it, the site take forever to load and then I get a timeout or I get in then the whole thing freezes on me. I have emptied the cache and all that sort of stuff but hasnt helped one bit. No other site has been a problem in this time. Really weird.
This morning though it has been all plain sailing thankfully so I am off to see what I have been missing.

We still haven’t got to the bottom of it and just can’t understand why it’s doing it, sorry, Will carry on investigating. It’s weird how sometimes it’s fine and others it isn’t as we are not working on the site or doing anything different. Gremlins!

It’s so hard to investigate it because we can’t get it to go wrong! Very frustrating and I’m so sorry that some of you are having this problem. If it happens to you can you let us know exactly what you were doing, i.e. what thread you were in, what you pressed etc., as that would be really helpful. Thanks!

It must be driving you both mad trying to sort it out.
For me if I actually get to the site (I come in from my favourites list) I get the home page first which is fine, I click on FORUM in the menu bar and get the forum page up, then click on the bit where it says say ‘2 new posts’, the new post list opens up and I click on one to read – that is when I get the security certificate page etc.
Other times I get it whenever I click on FORUM on the home page.

I have been looking around to see if I can find out anything about this, though I am sure you and Tim know as much about the web stuff as anyone else – the only thing I have found is a lot of people who ask questions about this are told it is something to do with the time zone your computer is set to against the time zone of the site you are visiting but I don’t know if that applies in this case.
It is very weird that I dont have this happen with any other sites. Those damned Gremlins are really picking on you Claire. I bet they are called Henry and Cromwell etc etc………………..
