You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to https://www.theanneboleynfiles.com, but we can’t confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely,
sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this site’s identity can’t be verified.
What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to
this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn’t continue.
Technical Details
I Understand the Risks
If you understand what’s going on, you
can tell Firefox to start trusting this site’s identification.
Even if you trust the site, this error could mean that someone is
tampering with your connection.
Don’t add an exception unless
you know there’s a good reason why this site doesn’t use trusted identification.
It's always bunnies.

We’re investigating it but haven’t got to the bottom of it yet. Tim’s tried going to the site in all different browsers and with the browser security set to the highest limit and can’t get it to go wrong. It is so odd that Firefox is even looking for a security certificate as only sites that begin with https, rather than http, have security certificates, i.e. banks and secure websites like that. Still investigating but sorry for the trouble.

I have had this happen a while back when the site was having problems but only once and I just tried again though couldn’t get on because as I said the site was going through something (moving to a new server or something like that) It has not (touching wood all over the place) happened again.

Anyanka,
Please can you check that you have https://www.theanneboleynfiles.com in the domain box and that it does not have https://www.theanneboleynfiles.com. Tim has added some code to the site which will direct anyone who types in https, or has a link that that appears in, to the http non-secure version as our site is not an SSL secure site. We just don’t understand why firefox would be looking for a security certificate when we’re not an SSL site anyway, very odd. Obviously it’s important for some sites like banks and other financial institutions to have security certificates but we’re just a normal website. Hmmmm….

I was browsing as usual when I suddenly got the thing up on screen again I clicked off and tried again and here I am with it all okay. It just went from http to https in the addy bar by itself. Definitely a gremlin……………

Had the same message appear again today. I log onto HTTP but when I go into a subject on the forum it comes up as HTTPS along with the security warning. When I ignore the warning and press ahead anyway it reverts back to HTTP and carries on as normal. Very odd.
This happened to me just now for the first time since I’ve been on the site. My browser is old; IE7. Guess there’s no answer as to what’s going on?
