& Claire, move over on your soap box cause I would be right there with you.  My heart truly does break for Anne's whole ordeal from beginning to end!

I had read somewhere that the reason he had to be completely rid of her and have the marriage annulled was to clear the way for any children that were to come from Jane Seymour. That way there would be no civil war after his death (due to people disputing who was the rightful heir.)

I also think that Jasmine's point that they were never really married so why the annullment and beheading. (sigh, I think this was just the big, spoiled baby Henry wiping the slate clean! Outta Sight outta mind?)
