Is there any known reasoning why Henry did not arrange a marriage for his daughter, Mary?

Positive Negative

Henry VIII actually arranged many betrothals/marriages for Mary but none of them came to anything. Like any royal princess, she was a diplomatic pawn, used to form treaties with France and Spain. I think Henry liked to keep his options open, but also Mary lost her "marketability" when she was made illegitimate and lost her status of princess and her claim to the throne. I think that's why she was still unmarried when Henry died.
