- Luxury Pine Green Lamour Bridal Satin with the undersleeves and front gore of Satin Brocade
- Plush Triple Velvet oversleeves, made extra long just like Natalie’s dress

- Extra boning used in front to provide the same “look” as the film (8 pieces of boning in the front, 4 on the sides (2 on each side) and 2 in the back for a total of 14)
- Corset Grade Grommets for the back lacing
- Elastic Waist with Toggle to adjust fit so that you can enjoy a full-on banquet!

- Filigrees and stones set on Black Velvet at the top of the bodice

Execution French Hood
This beautiful French hood has been made to match the Anne Boleyn Execution Dress and it features:-

- Imported Czech Glass Pearls handsewn along the top edge
- A decorative black trim along the bottom edge
It comes without a veil but Kris can add a black veil for $5 extra – see options.

Secondly - usually Black Velvet was used for the veil - she uses black elegance because it is lighter weight and not as hot!
Each French Hood is hand created for each customer. Your headpiece will be made and shipped out to you in 4-6 days from receipt of order and payment.
This is a special order item and so does not fit into our flat rate shipping fees - please choose your shipping service. The use of "Hoods" in general had been used in England for years - but it is believed that Henry VIII's second wife and Elizabeth I's mother, Anne Boleyn brought the FRENCH Hood style of headwear back to England following her service at the court of the French King. Over the years - the styles of the Hood in England changed through the Tudor and Elizabethan Era.
This hood is handmade by Kris in the US. Due to its size, the hood cannot be sent by standard first class within the US. Shipping costs are in addition to our standard $3 domestic US and $4.50 international rates.
The special hood shipping cost only covers the hood as this is sent directly from Kris, the costumer.

How long do the dresses take to make?
Hi Sarah,
Our dresses usually take 3-4 weeks to make, sometimes quicker. If you click on “More Details” on the dress you like then you’ll see what measurements Kris needs from you so that she can get started.
Thanks for your comment.
Kind Regards,
Claire
I was wondering wasnt there a golden Anne Boleyn dress that was the first dress that was sold on this site? I fell in love with that dress and now it seems that I cannot find it. (unless I fell on my head and it was never on here..lol) But I am starting to fall in love with the Pembroke dress but in black w the french hood that was worn from the National Portrait Gallery.. Plus I was reading comments on the Pembroke dress and hopefully it will help give me cleavage..lol Although some of the women here may not have that problem but unfortunately I do..lol I cannot wait to see what else Kris will think of to make.. Also the golden dress I had seen has beautiful long peasant type sleeves..it was gorgeous..Sorry for the babble.. but I just love these dresses..
Hi Jennifer,
We used to offer the Showtime gold Anne Boleyn dress but we decided to concentrate on our custom made-to-measure dresses instead and Natalie Dormer actually didn’t wear the gold one in The Tudors, she wore it in silver and blue – very bizarre! We may offer the silver and blue version in the future though. The Pembroke Dress is gorgeous and it has boning and adjustable lacing which, when combined with a corset, give that Tudor look. I felt like a queen when I wore mine at Hever!
