Monarch Film Premiere Tickets Competition

Monarch small screen print CROPPEDWin a pair of tickets to the film premiere of the newly restored Henry VIII film MONARCH starring TP McKenna and Jean Marsh, followed by a Q&A with double BAFTA nominated Writer and Director, John Walsh.

Sunday 14th September 3pm
The Tricycle Theatre
269 Kilburn High Road,
London NW6 7JR

Box Office: 020 7328 1000

The film has been painstaking remastered from the original 35mm colour camera negative which was recently discovered in a film vault after nearly 20 years and is now presented in full high definition for the first time.

MONARCH is part fact, part fiction and unfolds during one night when the injured ruler arrives at a manor house closed for the season. Henry is without the power and control of his palace and is vulnerable from those around him, and from his own sanity. TP McKenna plays Henry, after starring alongside Richard Burton’s Henry VIII in the epic Anne of a Thousand Days, and Jean Marsh (Upstairs Downstairs, Willow) plays an amalgamation of his wives. MONARCH unfolds in the year of Henry’s death, 1547.
