Umm. Hey! *curtsy
I’m new at court.
I’m Nat, 17 and recently discovered this deep fascination for her royal highness, her majesty the Queen Anne and her kin.
Though I know that both the movie and the book (The Other Boleyn Girl) is historically inaccurate I think it was because of it that I discovered my budding love for Anne. Funny how I look back that I also became a fan of Mary Tudor, (the pioneer for my first discovery of the Tudors.) Actually it’s just recently that I fell in love with Anne. I was more fascinated with her sister than of her. lol. I make it sound like King Henry. No really, I was torn between the two. Between the temperamental , feisty yet adoringly charming Anne and the *according to Gregory/Chadwick’s portrayal and Johansson’s performance* innocent, well reserved and good-natured Mary. At first I was never in favour with darling Anne–I was always Mary this and Mary that. Mary, Mary, Mary…the other Boleyn girl…but then I realized all along why I had favoured her higher than Anne… for it was the fictional Mary Boleyn I have created in my mind that I have grown to love. all along it’s Scarlett Johansson’s face I see whenever the name Mary Boleyn is brought up. I think this is the by product of Philippa Gregory’s portrayal of Mary. I mean, who wouldn’t fall in love with P. Gregory, and Justin Chadwick’s Mary Boleyn?
Okay now, about me: High strung, emotional, highly temperamental. A strong girl who knows what she wants and doesn’t let anything stand in her way. Outspoken and does not easily back down from anything. At times, quite cruel and manipulative and people hate me for it but despite all that I am fiercely loyal to those I love. (okay this is a bit harsh but it’s according to a personality quiz on which of King Henry VIII’s 6 wives I am. I took 7 quizzes from 7 different sites and I got the same answer. Anne Boleyn) how can I help it? Ainsi sera, groigne qui groigne. Grumble all you like, this is how it’s going to be. Haha. though I am most happy.
I’m not that bad. I promise. *gives out the Boleyn smile*
So I think that’s it. I’m the Other Boleyn Fan, I have a little neck too. haha. I’m hoping to make some friends around this court. I am so very honoured to be here.

Hi Nat, and welcome! Enjoy!
It is easy to like Mary. Even though we don’t know as much about Mary as we do about Anne, she is an interesting character. She fell in love, married, and as far as we know, lived happily in that marriage. Anne fell in love with a king, married him, and died for it. It is the contrast between the two sisters that is so intriguing.
