Kyra,I think your theory is good but it is just theory,I don’ t think Henry sufferd from Mcleods.Henry had a very serious injury to the thigh that never heed and it was very painfull. These type of injury’s eat away soft tissue and mussel if not treated, you would be in consent pain at all times. This I know as I had 2 absesses on my lower lumbar, the Doctos could not pick up the injury with xray, cat scanes therefore I had a MRI.My behavior from the pain went from bad and worsened as time went by,the pain never leaves, that had to be why the King was short temperd.I sufferd 2 years with none stop pain, wich would explane his mood swings from bad to worse. These injury’s without treatment eat soft tissue and mussel away and can go right to the bone.As for Mcleods I disagree with that theory, when one is in constent pain your behavior changes and the smallest things can set a very bad and angry mood swing, that could have been the factor to hid anger aswell as not being able to produce a live son. Also the sons he did have died very young.Henry was not short nor was he fat as a young he was in great shape,he love sport hunt, dance ect;The older he became he started to gain mass amounts of wieght, people seem to think he was shot and fat with bowed legs this is not true,he only in the croase of time became obess and thelegs bowed from ridding horse back all of his life.Henry was a very fit man about 6’1 to 6’2 as we get older we do shrink.I had 2 abesses in my lower lumbar and I can say the pain was so great almost unbarable. But Mcleods No,Kells maybe. My theory is he died of infection sepsis or a heart attack maybe both.Without scientifis from exsperts we may never know, and I really dont think present Queen wiil xsume his body for further testing. THx Baroness Very best Wishes on your new novel.

Hi Claire really good to here from you and great to see more people comming to The AB Files,I know thatJanet will have a great time on the site.I hope you and Tim are well and having a great summer getting some much needed rest as the last year for you has been in the Fast Lane, but what a great job well done. But keep the info comming, take care. THX Baroness
Hi Everyone,
I read the first chapter via Kindle and have decided to buy it so I can read the rest. The theory is plausible, and it shows good speculation based on the King’s behavior. Now, it can’t be proved unless an exhumantion and testing is done, but I see no problem with reading a good medical speculation on the king’s behavior. I think National Geographic did something similar a few years ago, not the same disease, as a documentary, and I thought it was good.
So, looking forward to another theory on why King Henry VIII behaved so horribly.

Just a thought,if I were going to make any kind of theroy on Mclouds or Kells or any other type of diseases, that anyone may have sufferd,I would pick up human anatomey, science, biology books and start my research there.Claire has many sites aswell if you need info, also the the historical archives, are a very good source.I highly dout that we will ever know what happend to Henry, there is know blood to be tested. There is just bone and most likely far to dry, as after the marrow dries up there’s no DNA left .Thats just my theroy and where I would go to try to make some type of sensible understanding of what MAY have happend. THX.
